The Word World: Building Short Vowel Words

New Product Alert! Here is a fun activity is The Word World to help readers practice building, segmenting, and blending words. Students will build short vowel words that the teacher reads, blend short vowel word family words, and segment words to identify the number of sounds in the words and to self check their spelling. This activity is adaptive to distance learning. It can be used as a computer-based center, an independent homework activity, a small group activity, and as a whole group activity. In whole group instruction, it can also be used as an interactive activity if used with a Smart Board. You can also make copies of the slides in the Jamboard to give each student their own slide and have students work in the document at the same time.
