New Product Alert! Here is a fun activity is The Word World to help readers practice identifying rhyming words. Students will read, circle, and sort rhyming words. This is a great introductory activity to use when first teaching rhyme. Students will be able to practice applying blending skills to read and segmenting and listening skills to identify the final sound in words. This activity is adaptive to distance learning. It can be used as a computer-based center, an independent homework activity, a small group activity, and as a whole group activity. In whole group instruction, it can also be used as an interactive activity if used with a Smart Board. You can also make copies of the slides in the Jamboard to give each student their own slide and have students work in the document at the same time.
